The Schneider Electric Acti9 iPRD40 A9L040600 is a Type 2 surge protective device (SPD) engineered for 3P+N low-voltage installations. It is designed for high lightning-risk locations and incoming distribution panels, offering convenient replacement of damaged cartridges without dismantling the entire assembly. The device can be rotated so that phase, neutral, and earth cables enter from either the top or the bottom, simplifying wiring in diverse configurations. It is compatible with both TT and TN-S earthing systems. The associated circuit breaker must have a short-circuit breaking capacity of at least 50 kA.
